AIT Racing offers a full selection of body kits
for many popular vehicle makes and models. Most body kits consist of a
front bumper cover replacement, pair of side skirts and rear bumper cover
replacement. Most AIT Racing body kits are manufactured in high quality
fiberglass with glossy gelcoat finish. AI Racing body kits are known for having
better than average fitment out of the box compared to most other fiberglass
body kits on the market. AIT Racing fiberglass body kits are also reputed to
have good finish quality and better than average flexibility to resist
shattering upon impact. Check out what we have for your vehicle by clicking into
our body kits catalog.
AIT Racing front bumper covers are designed to
replace the oem factory body style bumper cover with something more aggressively
styled for a very unique appearance. Installing an AIT Racing front bumper
consists of disassembling the factory bumper cover and removing it from the
vehicle. The stock bumper hardware should be placed aside as some of it
may be re-used in the installation process. The new bumper cover will need
to be held up to the vehicle and then the mounting holes can be marked using a
sharpie marker. Once the mounting holes are marked on the new bumper cover they
can be drilled and the bumper can be test fitted on the vehicle. When
possible it is good to reuse the factory bumper mounting hardware but in many
instances custom brackets should be fabricated to give the new bumper necessary
AIT Racing front bumper lips
are designed for the customer that wants to freshen the look of their vehicle
without committing to replacing the full bumper cover. Front bumper lips still
require the stock bumper to be removed from the vehicle for installation.
Once the bumper is dismounted from the vehicle the factory bumper can be flexed
inward so that the new bumper lip can be installed over the bottom of the
bumper. As for attaching the bumper lip to the bumper cover you will be
using 3M double sided tape (red automotive grade) and either nuts/bolts or
rivets to secure the lip in place. Once the lip is secured to the bumper
the bumper can be reinstalled on the vehicle.
AIT Racing side
skirts are designed to lower the side profile of the vehicle to match the lower
front and rear bumpers. Most side skirts will need some trimming before they
will be ready to fit properly. We advise having a helper with you when test
fitting side skirts and that you tape off the paint on the vehicle so you do not
scratch it during the test fitment. Once the part has been trimmed and held up
to the vehicle you will then have to decide on your method of securing the panel
to the vehicle. The two most common methods are to use rivets and double
sided tape for a removable installation or rivets and panel bonding adhesive for
a permanent install. Some applications benefit from having custom brackets
fabricated to add additional support.
AIT Racing rear bumper covers just like the front
bumpers are designed to replace the oem factory body style bumper cover with
something more aggressively styled for a very unique appearance. Installing an
AIT Racing rear bumper consists of disassembling the factory bumper cover and
removing it from the vehicle. The stock bumper hardware should be placed
aside as some of it may be re-used in the installation process. The new
bumper cover will need to be held up to the vehicle and then the mounting holes
can be marked using a sharpie marker. Once the mounting holes are marked on the
new bumper cover they can be drilled and the bumper can be test fitted on the
vehicle. When possible it is good to reuse the factory bumper mounting
hardware but in many instances custom brackets should be fabricated to give the
new bumper necessary support.
AIT Racing fenders are designed to replace the
factory front fenders in a bolt on installation. The stock fender needs to
be removed usually by removing the front bumper cover and headlights and then
removing all the mounting bolts in the engine bay and door jam that secure the
fender in place. Once the stock fender is out of the way the new fender can be
held in place and then all the mounting holes will need to be marked using a
sharpie marker and then carefully drilled out. When mounting an
aftermarket fiberglass or carbon fiber fender you want to loosely install all
the bolts and then turn attention to panel gap alignment. A good tip is to
start at the door jam and set the gap there first and then turn attention to the
hood gap. Once alignment is achieved start to secure each bolt until it is
AIT Racing carbon fiber hoods use state of the
art manufacturing process called vacuum infusion process. Hoods
manufactured in this method use dry carbon fiber placed into a mold and then
placed under vacuum before liquid resin is introduced and pulled across the
fabric inside the mold. The result is a super light weight part that is
rich in detail around body lines and vents and has a proper fiber to resin ratio
making the part extremely strong. If you are in the market for a true grade A
quality carbon fiber hood check out AIT Racing and B-Magic for what they have to
offer for your application.

Important Information About Installation:
Aerodynamics and ground effects are shipped unfinished and require prep-work before painting. Always dry fit your parts before starting any prep work or painting. Some modifications to stock mounting hardware may be necessary and may require some fabrication of brackets and mounting hardware. We advise professional installation at a facility with custom car and body kit experience. We do not advise installation by collision only repair shops.
On any over sized freight truck / tractor trailer deliveries you must inspect all packages immediately in the presence of the delivery person. Do not sign delivery receipt until all parts have been inspected. This means you must open the box and remove each item to inspect it for concealed damage.
Aerodynamics orders may have concealed damage and if not noted at delivery you forfeit your ability to file a claim on the shipping insurance. It is important that you are aware of this and follow this policy to ensure you are fully covered in the event there is a problem. If you find damage to any items in your order please note them on the delivery bill and sign for the package. Please contact us through our customer service claim system described below to start the claim process. Once your claim has been electronically received our staff will process it onto the shipping warehouse from where your order originated for resolution.
